A Beach Lover's Delight!
I was eager to visit Kellys Beach due to its reputation as the last beach in the Discovery Coast where you can legally drive a four-wheel-drive vehicle. My excitement made choosing this resort an easy decision, and I was pleasantly surprised by its excellent group accommodation facilities, including ample parking. The rugged granite rocky outcrops and the opportunity to experience both the outer surf and the inner stillwater beach enhanced my stay. With holiday accommodations available in houses, apartments, and caravan parks, it’s perfect for all types of visitors.
Minor cleanliness issues in the villa.

The villa was spacious & easily self contained with minimal noise, even during the day. The pricing did not penalize you for being a single occupant. The breakfast was on time & of good quality. Staff was always polite & willing to help.
Due to the small size of the shower area (if of above average height), a different water saving shower head was needed to reduce water output needed to shower quickly.

The location was marvellous and beautiful for traveling around Bargara, really close to a fantastic footpath all the way along the coast which is great for walking, bike riding, scootering as well as a walk to the beach. Also, such main attraction as The Basin was 3 km from this hotel.

The loft setup was a nightmare-those steep steps felt like a ladder, and it got so hot up there! The air conditioning just couldn't keep up, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Totally unacceptable!

We had a fantastic family getaway! The kids loved the pool, and the tropical gardens created such a calming atmosphere. The cabin was clean and quirky, though a bit outdated. Perfectly located near the beach and great swimming spots. Staff were super friendly-definitely a relaxing vibe!

I loved how the villas at Kellys Beach Resort were laid out, providing plenty of room for our family while still feeling cozy enough for a couple. The comfy big bed, nice hot shower with good water pressure, and overall location made our stay enjoyable. We appreciated the flexibility of check-in and the friendly communication from the staff. the overall condition of the resort could use some serious attention and care.

The proximity to the beach and the beautiful pool area made for a perfect relaxing getaway. We really enjoyed breakfast on our private deck, soaking in the tranquility and watching the local birds in the well-kept gardens.
There were some downsides. The room wasn’t as clean as we hoped, with dusty surfaces and an overall need for maintenance. The bathroom felt cramped, and the kitchenette lacked some essential appliances. We also found limited privacy, as our patio overlooked the parking lot, which wasn’t ideal. A little more upkeep could make this place shine!

The room was comfortable, the location was fine, and the staff treated us like family, making our experience more fun.
Hotel breakfast could benefit from a wider variety of options.
